In this little Gospel tract, Joni shares her testimony of how God worked in her life so powerfully after becoming quadriplegic in July 1967. She underwent overwhelming physical and emotional trials, but through continual prayer and support of family and friends she began to see a change in her attitude–most significantly after learning to paint with her mouth. Even though it still isn’t easy for Joni to live with her disability, she holds onto Romans 8:28, “In all things God works for the good of those who love Him,” and sees her wheelchair as the means God has used to set her spirit free.
