Azia Smith

Area Director

Azia Smith has a passion for nonprofit work. Before joining Joni and Friends, Azia worked with the Boys & Girls Club and the Mississippi Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. She is a distinguished summa cum laude graduate of Mississippi College where she earned a bachelor’s degree in social work. With a diverse background spanning creative marketing, operations, and nonprofit development, Azia’s faith has profoundly shaped her journey—including serving in the mission field in North Africa and Europe. She has devoted her career to the service of others, and she strives to make a Christ-honoring impact in the world.
 
Azia is a solid Christian leader with a true servant’s heart, and she is excited about supporting families impacted by disabilities throughout Mississippi and Alabama.
