When Life is Interrupted
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada, and I’m convinced some of the most interesting things can happen when you are late or interrupted; sometimes, actual miracles. Take the time Jesus was on the way to see Lazarus, his critically ill friend. Jesus got delayed a couple of days. Or when Jairus asked Jesus to come and heal his sick daughter.
But again, the Lord was delayed by a woman with a hemorrhage. And here’s the thing: even though Jesus was interrupted, great things happened. A woman with a hemorrhage was cured, and Jesus raised the daughter of Jairus and Lazarus from the dead. Remember this next time you’re interrupted by a phone call or delayed by a friend – because sometimes God’s best miracles are hidden when interruptions interfere with your routine. Try your best to stay on schedule, but if something happens and you’re late, just remember, amazing things can happen.
