Warrior Getaway — Joni and Friends Central California

Hosted by Joni and Friends Central California, this Warrior Getaway is held at Calvin Crest Camp in Oakhurst, surrounded by the Sierra National Forest (30 minutes from Yosemite National Park). We serve our American servicemen and servicewomen who have visible and invisible injuries as a result of military service. Veterans, along with their families, are provided a safe space for respite, spiritual renewal, and healing. Your family will experience fellowship with others facing similar challenges, and find new hope in Christ. Come enjoy a wide range of accessible family activities, powerful speakers, counseling opportunities, and time in God’’’s Word.

Event Cost:
$100 per family. Generous Joni and Friends donors have covered the remaining $500 cost for all participating families.

If you are a Christ-follower with a heart to bring help and Gospel hope to people with disabilities, you can make a powerful hands-on difference by volunteering with us at a Warrior Getaway.

As a volunteer at Warrior Getaway, you will join our team in offering experiences of healing, rest, and belonging to American servicemen, servicewomen, Veterans, and their family members. Whether you serve in children’s programming, offer support to Warriors as a peer-to-peer volunteer, or step into another supporting role, you will make a lasting difference, all in the name of Jesus.
