Winning the Battle
“Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.”
Ephesians 6:11
Ephesians chapter 6 says to “Put on the full armor of God.” And there’s a good reason. Every day is a fierce battle against the enemy. And he never lets up. Never. Every day it’s swords clashing, bullets flying, and grenades exploding (spiritually speaking). Are you outfitted in God’s armor? This morning, did you go to God’s arsenal to be outfitted for battle? Look, don’t be lulled into a spiritual stupor, thinking you don’t have a target on your back. If you name Christ as Savior, the devil has you in his cross hairs. So do not let him decimate your faith, wound you with discouragement, cripple you with temptation, or take you out of the battle. In Christ, you are more than a conqueror. God is with you, for you! So, make certain you clothe yourself with Christ every morning.
