Vicki is my quadriplegic friend who is quite the warrior. She has a hard life, but for her, enduring tough trials with a hard-fought-for smile is her way of ‘building up’ tangible proof of her love for Jesus. When Vicki arrives in heaven, she wants everybody to know… when I was on earth? I loved my Jesus, and in case any dark demon doubts it, Jesus? Press the replay button and show them! And then… the whole universe will drop their jaws in amazement at the way she embraced every grace God gave her, grace after grace to help her through her suffering. Friend, you need a story like that to tell when you stand before God’s throne. And the good news? You don’t need to be a quadriplegic. Just steward well the suffering you’ve got, and heaven will mark you as more than a conqueror.
