Jesus Meets Every Need
“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:19
Over the years I’ve learned, no matter what my need, Jesus meets it. There are days when my faith is bone dry. And Jesus shows up as my Living Water. When I’m discouraged, he comes to me as the God of all hope. If I’m overwhelmed by loss – a dear friend moves away, or I lose functioning ability in my arm, or it hits me that I can’t sing like I used to – loss is hard, but Jesus is my Man of Sorrows acquainted with my grief.
Friend, there is not a need you experience, not an emotion you wrestle with, not a trial you face, that God won’t be your supply. Philippians 4 assures that “God will meet all your needs (all of them) according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” Every need is met in him. So, whatever trial you are facing, turn to Jesus. After all, he’s in it with you.
