Get Ready for Heaven

I’m doing everything I can to get ready for heaven. This earth is but a blip on the radar; a wisp of smoke compared to an eternity of joy. So, how am I getting ready for heaven? Well, it’s a holy place created for holy people.

So… it stands to reason we need to get a head start on holiness now, don’t you think? Now’s the time to uproot sin, pride, greed, selfishness, lust for other things (the whole package)! Look, when I finally get a chance to walk through those gates of pearl, I don’t want my feet still shackled to old, bad, earthly habits.

How could I possibly enjoy heaven if I arrive hanging onto the very sins that cost my Savior his life? No wonder the Bible says now’s the time to “be holy as he is holy.”  So, join me. This is our one chance to get ready for heaven… now.
