Spiritual Legacies

Recently, when my travels brought me through Washington, D.C., I knew I wanted to make time to tour the Museum of the Bible which opened last autumn. So on our day off, we spent all afternoon there. It was a special time, and we went away refreshed. Reflecting on God’s Word throughout history both humbles me and prompts me to think about the spiritual legacies we leave.

Perhaps that is why it seems so natural for Museum of the Bible co-founder Jackie Green and her daughter Lauren McAfee to pen a book about legacies. Only One Life tells the stories of women across history who have changed the world through their winsome example. I was delighted to learn about so many “movers and shakers” amongst the pages, and honored they chose to include my own story and the ministry of Joni and Friends.
