Receiving Jesus!

When it comes to inviting people to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, it’s our priority at Joni and Friends. That’s why I keep this photo of two of our Cause 4 Life interns who served in Uganda: Katy (in the wheelchair) and Tommie. They are leading a young Ugandan to Christ (his name is Joel, and he was so happy to receive a wheelchair from us). Pastor Francis Mugwanya, our Joni and Friends’ ministry affiliate, is translating for Katy and Tommie. These two were part of our Cause 4 Life team who served special-needs families in the villages of Gulu in Northern Uganda. The team taught 130 children with special-needs, and trained teachers and care givers at a school in Kampala.
