Tastes of Mexico

Mexico Word SearchEven if you’ve never been to Mexico, chances are it is a country that is more familiar to you than most. You’ve eaten Mexican food (tortilla chips and salsa! Guacamole!), you know how to count as they do in Mexico (uno, dos, tres), and say hello (hola!). But do you know all of the words in this Mexico Wheels for the World word search? Today starts the beginning of a Wheels for the World distribution in Mexico. See if you can find all of the listed words. Once you’ve found them all, look up the words you aren’t familiar with. (Hint: Some words are the names of towns where Joni and Friends will be distributing wheelchairs.) Then take some time to pray for the kids and grownups who will hear about Jesus’ love for the first time. Pray that they will “taste and see that the Lord is good” (Psalm 34:8). And one more thing—the next time you get to enjoy the taste of tacos or quesadillas or some other Mexican treat, pray again for the people who will be receiving wheelchairs this week.
