When You Plant a Seed, God Reaps a Harvest!
Brayan’s parents are poor farmers, living high in the Andes Mountains. “We earn so little money that we never even tried to look for a wheelchair for our son,” said Richard. “Wheelchairs are given to the people who have the most money to pay.” So Brayan spends his days on the dirt floor of his home, on a makeshift bed of pillows. “I’ve been waiting so long for some kind of answer for him,” says his mother Felicitas. “I can’t carry him anymore because he is too heavy. Brayan wants to learn so badly. He is so frustrated lying on the floor all day.” You planted a seed of faith and out it rolls – a beautiful pediatric wheelchair for little Brayan. “Gracias, gracias! Muchas gracias… more than we can say!” they cry. “We know there is more life for our son than staying on the floor – and now you’ve given it to him!” There is real life ahead for this family – eternal life. The seeds of a wheelchair opened the door to a harvest! A Gospel bracelet was given to Brayan. And as the story of salvation was shared, Richard, Felicitas, and their little boy opened their hearts to brand new life in Christ. A Bible was given and a local pastor was introduced – all the necessary “food” for growth, to nourish a family whose walk with Jesus began with the seed of a wheelchair, planted and watered in prayer by you.
