You Can Do Great Things!

Have you learned about Helen Keller and Beethoven? What about Franklin D. Roosevelt and Walt Disney? Can you guess what they each have in common? They’re all very important people in history and they each had a disability. Helen Keller was blind, deaf, and couldn’t speak, but that didn’t stop her from accomplishing great things! Beethoven was deaf, but wrote some of the most beautiful music ever created. Franklin D. Roosevelt was President of the United States, and he used a wheelchair! And even though Walt Disney had a learning disability, he created Disneyland and Disney World! Wow! That just goes to show, it doesn’t matter whether or not you have a disability, you can achieve great things… especially with God on your side!
