Wheels on a Chair

Have you ever seen a picture of an old wheelchair? When wheelchairs were first invented, they were pretty simple. Just some wheels on a chair. That’s all. And that was good. But wheelchairs have come a long way since then! Not only are wheelchairs made for many different types of disabilities, but there are wheelchairs for different kinds of activities… even racing and going to the beach! This is one reason why people who use a wheelchair don’t usually say things like “I have to use a wheelchair,” or “I’m confined to a wheelchair.” Wheelchairs help people go places and do things they couldn’t on their own. And that is something to thank God for!
