Waiting with Excitement

Are you excited? Have you been waiting for Christmas to come so you can open all the presents under your Christmas tree? It is hard to wait sometimes, isn’t it? But imagine looking forward to something a million billion times more exciting than opening gifts Christmas morning. It would be so very hard to wait! In the days before Christmas we can remember what it was like for people waiting for Jesus to come. God’s people knew a Savior was coming and they had to wait a long time for Him. Jesus is that Savior. And Jesus is better than a million billion times the best present you’ve ever gotten! Did you know we are waiting, too? We’re not waiting in the same way people were waiting when Jesus was born, but we are waiting for Jesus to come again. When He comes again, it is going to be really super amazingly cool and exciting. So in these last two days of waiting for Christmas, remember you’ve got something even more exciting to wait for!
