Owls and God’s Encouragement

What did you do the last time you felt sad, tired, and discouraged? Did you get frustrated? Did you have a little pout all by yourself? It can be easy to do that, but a better thing is to ask God to help and encourage you. Once, when Joni was feeling discouraged, she asked God to encourage her. She thought maybe God would send a special verse or song to her. Instead, God surprised her and sent owls! From her window she looked up into the trees outside and saw two baby owls waiting for their mom to bring them lunch. In watching those owls, she was reminded about how God cares for His creation. Then she wasn’t so discouraged! A lot of times God can surprise us with His encouragement. Have you been surprised by God recently? How?
