The 40th president of the United States, Ronald Reagan deemed July “National Ice Cream Month”. But, he made this day most special of all! He specified the third Sunday of July as National Ice Cream day. Here’s a few little facts about ice cream…. Charles E. Minches from St. Louis, Missouri is believed by some to have invented the ice cream cone at the World’s Fair in July of 1904. However, Italo Marchiony from New York also claims he began selling lemon ice in cones before Minches in 1896. So who’s the real mastermind behind the cone? Who knows? So grab your friends, grab your family and get to the closest ice cream shop!
