The Real Meaning Behind Easter

What’s your favorite part of Easter? Dying eggs? Getting an Easter egg basket? Visiting the Easter Bunny? Maybe it’s getting all dressed up? There are so many parts of Easter we get excited about, but we often forget to celebrate the most important thing of all – that Jesus Christ died for our sins and rose again to give us new life! We all have sinned. Maybe we told a lie or did something we knew was wrong. Sinning keeps us from getting close to God. But God loved us so much He sent Jesus to die on the cross for our sins so we could have eternal life with Him. As you celebrate Easter this Sunday, remember the real meaning behind the holiday.
