Joni’s Favorite Verse: Philippians

The word favorite might mean just one, but when there are so many good things, it is hard to choose just one! That is why Joni has lots of favorite verses. In fact, the entire book of Philippians is one of her favorites! Why does she like it so much? She likes it because the apostle Paul wrote it when he was in a hard place and suffering a lot. Because he was in such a tough place, his words about how to act when we are hurting or struggling are really helpful to Joni.
