Heart for the Disabled Breaks all Records
No doubt you heard that Joni and Friends recently held Heart for the Disabled week – listeners to Joni’s radio program and readers of her blog sent in homemade Valentine cards, gift certificates, poems, copies of hymns, Scriptures, and letters of encouragement to five different special-need families. And this year was a record breaker – we received hundreds more notes and cards than in years past!
If you sent in a note, we want to thank you for participating with us to make this coming February 14 a truly memorable day for these disabled people and their families. We also want to thank the home school group from Dr. John MacArthur’s Grace Community Church who dropped by to hand-deliver their homemade Valentines – thanks, boys and girls!
