God With Us

Christmas carols are playing everywhere this time of year. “Silent Night” is one of Joni’s favorites! Do you have a favorite? Have you heard “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel”? This is another one of Joni’s favorites. Emmanuel means God with us. The song celebrates the birth of Jesus and that He came to be our Savior! We sing Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel because we know Jesus came as part of God’s plan to save us, and also to teach us how to live. Jesus loved everyone and helped others everywhere He went. Talk to your parents about ways, big or small, that you, too, can help others and show the love of Jesus during the Christmas season.
