Give Thanks!

Are you ready to giving thanks? Thanksgiving is still a week and a half away, but here’s a story about Thanksgiving that Joni likes to tell. One year, all of Ken and Joni’s family were around the table after eating Thanksgiving dinner. They all went around the table to share one thing they were grateful for. Joni’s nephew got stuck. He couldn’t think of anything he was thankful for! After everyone else had gone, he finally thought of something to share, but he wasn’t ready at first! Ephesians 5:20 says, “Always give thanks to God the Father for everything. Give thanks to him in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Take a look at those words… always, everything.
