Time Out

“At least I’m not doing bad stuff like that person.” Have you ever thought that? It can be easy in school or at home to think that you are doing just fine because you aren’t getting into trouble like that other person is. But Second Corinthians chapter 10 says, “When they measure themselves by one another… they are without understanding.” When you look at someone else to measure whether you are doing okay, you are not being wise. We aren’t supposed to be just better than your friend or your little sister. You are supposed to look to the Bible to see how you are supposed to be. Look to Jesus, not the person sitting in time out. Because only when you are trying to do as Jesus did will you be doing well.
