Kids’ Corner Contest Winner: Ages 8-11

Congratulations to the second of our two winners in the Ages 8-11 category, Margaret. Read about her favorite Christmas memory below.

“My favorite Christmas memory was when my little brother Owen was born. My family was all worried that my mom and dad wouldn’t be home in time for Christmas. It was Christmas Eve, and my mom was at the hospital. She was giving birth to Owen. My dad was at the hospital, and I was with my seven brothers and sisters at home. Christmas morning, my brothers and sisters and I were sitting on the couches in our family room waiting and hoping that my mom, dad and new baby brother would come home. It was about 4:00 PM when all of a sudden the front door opened. My mom, dad and baby brother Owen were home! We were all happy and had a very Merry Christmas!”
