Ants

Have you been watching any ants lately? Summer is a great time to look at ants and learn from them. Wait, you say. An ant? We can learn from an ant? Yes! God invites us in the Bible to learn from all sorts of His creatures. We can learn from rock badgers, locusts, lizards, dogs, mules, horses, goats, sheep, lions, vipers, eagles, and even leeches… of all things! And that list is just the animals listed in Proverbs! So the next time you see an ant trying to steal your food at a picnic, think about Proverbs 6:6 which says, “You people who don’t want to work, think about the ant! Consider its ways and be wise!”
