Radio’s Impact
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada and I’m always so blessed when friends like you tell me how much these brief insights from God’s Word encourage you. Like Susie who listens over this Christian radio station. She wrote to tell me that her brain tumor is spreading, and she’ll soon have surgery. But then she wrote, “Joni, it helped so much to hear you say on the radio that you’ve had to die so many times to your own dreams. But through that dying, you’re learning how to live – really live – in Jesus Christ. That’s exactly how I’ve been feeling, and it’s good to know someone understands.” Oh, friend, if our brief time together here on the radio can encourage you like that, it makes my life in this wheelchair feel so useful, so meaningful. ’Cause I love helping others like Susie through these radio messages.
