Joni and Friends is Recognized Again as a Best Christian Workplace
AGOURA HILLS, CA – Feb. 16, 2023:
For the 17th year in a row, Joni and Friends has been designated a Best Christian Workplace for parachurch and missions organizations.
Certified by the Best Christian Workplace Institute, this outstanding recognition honors the healthy workplace culture and Christian leadership of the organization and is validated through employee survey results.
As Joni and Friends engages employees and nurtures healthy teams, the ministry continues to see growth in service and outreach for people living with disability.

Joni and Friends was founded in 1979 by Tada who in a diving accident was left a quadriplegic at 17. Ministry began as she responded to letters from people challenged by disability in search of support.
Over more than 40 years, the organization has grown to serve thousands of people worldwide:
More than 215,000 wheelchairs and Bibles have been distributed through the Wheels for the World program, 64,000 special needs family members have been encouraged at Retreats & Getaways, disability ministry training, and higher education have been provided through the Christian Institute on Disability, and complete Christ-centered care is offered through new Joni’s House international disability centers worldwide.
