AGOURA HILLS, California, February 2, 2026 – When Joni Eareckson Tada was paralyzed in a diving accident in 1967, she was plunged into years of despair and depression. God’s faithfulness helped her come to terms with her diagnosis, and learning to paint high-detail fine art with her mouth during rehab gave her a platform to share her faith with the world.

Her 1976 autobiography, Joni: An Unforgettable Story, sold over 5 million copies and was translated into 50 languages, inspiring the faith of millions of Christians around the world. Joni’s transformative personal story, which has been hailed as one of the most beloved Christian autobiographies of the 20th Century, has been released to a new generation.
