Wobbly Writing

How old were you when you learned how to write your name? Can you remember what your letters looked like? They were probably pretty crooked!

But what about writing your name using a pen in your mouth? This is what one group of kids did to help learn about disabilities. They knew that Joni draws and writes by using her mouth, so they wanted to try, too!  As you can see in the picture, the writing is pretty wobbly.

You know what else? These kids learned about Joni and Friends Family Retreats and decided to help raise money so that a family could attend a retreat. Even if they didn’t get the hang of using a pen in their mouth on the first try, they certainly got the hang of helping serve people with disabilities!
