Spirit Wheels Ministry

In the early 80s when I moved to California, I met Rick Hohn, a remarkable Christian brother with cerebral palsy – he’s an associate pastor at his church, and guest-speaks at other churches and schools. Rick is also a consumer representative for DynaVox (they make speech-generated devices). Rick is an accomplished artist, using a paintbrush attached to his head stylus. We even served together in Moscow, Russia in the early 90s. It seems nothing slows him down! His organization, Spirit Wheels Ministry, is supported by his friend, Craig (it was always Craig’s dream to minister alongside someone like Rick). The mission statement of SWM is “To bring help to the helpless, hope to the hopeless, comfort to the hurting, and to help people with disabilities walk in the fullness of God’s power and love.” If you know a disabled person who needs encouragement, or you’d like to learn more, visit Spirit Wheels Ministry.
