PET Scan Update

Many of you assured me of your prayers as Ken took me to my PET scan on Friday morning – it was incredibly cumbersome getting me in my big wheelchair up into the imaging trailer (in the parking lot) and then, onto the narrow little table at the base of the big imaging tube. There was absolutely no room, but my husband is SUCH A TROOPER! Thanks to the grace of God, Ken kept a great attitude through it all. Late this afternoon we meet with my medical oncologist to find out the results of the scan as well as blood tests earlier last week. If the report is clear, we will head out this weekend for Mission Springs Family Retreat! We’ll keep you posted, friend, “For we are God’s fellow workers” (1 Corinthians 3:9)!
