Off to Family Retreat!

Today on Saturday morning, Ken and I load up in the van along with Rainey and Kathren for the long drive up to Scotts Valley, California and our Mission Springs Family Retreat – boy, are we excited! My husband and I almost never take a vacation, but this time, we are building two days into the drive to enjoy the California coastline and Big Sur along Highway 1 – they say it’s one of the most scenic drives in the world. We’re taking song sheets to sing praises to God and, of course, our Through-the-Bible-in-a-Year reading schedule. Join us in praying that the hearts of weary, burdened special-needs families will be refreshed by the Word of God shared this week, not only at Mission Springs, but all our other Family Retreats going on right now. You are loved… and appreciated!
