NRB Hymn Sing

Some days, my wheelchair can feel like a prison. Unable to walk or use my hands, I look at the bolts and bars of my own wheelchair and it can feel so confining! But that is when I remember to sing. What does singing have to do with feeling trapped? Well, in Acts 16, we read that Paul and Silas were imprisoned — but that didn’t keep them from praying and singing hymns. What’s more, there was power in their song — chains were broken, prisoners were set free, and souls were saved! That’s why whenever I’m with other Christians, I love to sing — and it was no exception this past February, when Christian broadcasters gathered at the National Religious Broadcasters Convention for a special “Hymn Sing” hosted by my friends from Ambassador Advertising Agency. It was an extra special time of worship and praise with great friends like Bob Lepine, Evie, and Keith and Kristyn Getty — and I wanted to share it with you in this video. Friend, if today you are feeling trapped by your circumstances, lift up your voice! Remember, there is power in your song :-).
