Nick’s Pennies

Nick has been walking everywhere with his head down. No, he’s not sad. He’s looking for something. He’s looking for lots of things, actually. Pennies! A long time ago, he learned about people who are treated badly. He wanted to help them, but how could he? He couldn’t go protect the people and he didn’t have lots of money to send, but he really wanted to help. So his idea? He would look for pennies! A lot of times, a penny will drop and no one will notice. Or if they do notice, no one will take the effort to pick it up. Because a penny is not very much, right? Wrong! Nick has found that pennies add up! Just a little bit of effort and Nick has been able to save up lots of pennies. A little bit of effort and he’s found a way to help hurting people!
