Memorize
To memorize is to put something in your memory so you can always remember it. It is good to memorize your parents’ cell phone numbers, your birthdate, and your multiplication tables. Just to name a few! But it is also important to memorize verses from the Bible. Are you working on memorizing verses? There are lots of ways to make memorizing easier. You can put words to songs or draw pictures to match the words. You can make hand motions or do puzzle challenges. What other ways can you think of? If you still have trouble memorizing, try getting someone to help you! Bella goes to a kids’ club that makes memorizing verses fun. Sam’s grandma pays him money for every verse he learns. David and his brother have a competition to see who can learn the most verses the fastest. If you aren’t memorizing Bible verse yet, give one of these ways a try! If you don’t know where to start, download April’s Key Verses from the Chronological Bible reading plan and give them a try. You never know when you’ll need them!
