Meet Our Interns

Whenever a new crop of interns arrives at Joni and Friends, I love hearing their stories – over lunch they’ll share their testimonies and pour out their passion about serving Jesus among disabled kids or adults. Victoria (on the left) is studying in our Cause 4 Life Academy this summer, serving at a Family Retreat, then joining us in Haiti. Lenae is helping with the planning for our upcoming LA Urban Family Retreat. Haley is currently a full-time student at Azusa Pacific University and is assisting in our radio department. Just listening to these girls has stirred my confidence in what God is doing in the next generation. I’m just privileged to be able to encourage them on, just as Psalm 71:18 says, “Do not forsake me, O God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your might to all who are to come.” Pray for these young women… and another group of excited interns who are arriving this week!
