Meet Beth… Cause 4 Life Intern

Joni and Friends is hosting over 60 interns this summer, and many have disabilities. Like Beth from Alabama who struggles daily with chronic pain, fatigue, and other medical issues. Beth enjoyed classroom studies at our IDC, a week serving at a Family Retreat, and assisting in various departments, including radio. Beth was a huge inspiration to me (as I deal daily with pain). Beth’s smile through every hardship was a constant reminder that Christian joy goes a lot deeper than the surface – her joy is a quiet, glad confidence in her Savior; her contentment is rock-solid; and her peace is profound. Hebrews 10:25 says, “Let us encourage one another — and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” That’s your goal for this weekend. Encourage someone through your joy, contentment, and peace in Christ!
