“Please God, I want to honor you,” Alicia prayed. She knew Matthew 6:19 taught about not storing up riches on earth, and she wanted to store up treasures in heaven instead. For a long time she saved up her money, knowing that one day, God would help her know what He wanted her to do. One day in church, her pastor invited people to make a special offering to God by giving money to the work of Joni and Friends. “That’s it!” Alicia knew this was how God wanted her to use her money.
