Jesus Paid It All

It’s amazing how the glory of God shines brighter through the praise of His people who suffer. It’s why I love this brief video of Donna Reedy on the piano (she used to volunteer for Joni and Friends). Donna is elderly, in ill health, has lost the use of her arm through a stroke, is virtually blind, and is in hospice. Her son, Ethan, wrote, “Whenever my mother thought she could not endure the life she faced daily, she remembered God’s faithfulness to you, Joni, and she was encouraged. She has always been a gifted pianist, and up until the last few weeks, she would play hymns on the piano one-handed for hours on end as a testimony to God’s faithfulness.” Because she offers praise to God through her affliction, Donna Reedy is a beautiful example of Psalm 107:22, “Let them sacrifice thank offerings and tell of his works with songs of joy.” Be blessed by this heartwarming rendition of “Jesus Paid It All,” and pray with me that Heaven may soon open its arms to give Donna a rich welcome!
