Jeremy and the Empty Tomb

CrossJeremy was born with more than one disability that made learning very hard. One Easter, his teacher told the story of Jesus – how He died on the cross for our sins and rose from the grave victorious. She then asked Jeremy and his classmates to take home a large plastic egg (like the ones you might use for Easter egg hunts) and bring it back with something inside that showed new life. Some of the kids brought back eggs filled with flowers or plastic butterflies. Do you know what Jeremy put in his egg? NOTHING! His classmates and teacher were very confused. But Jeremy realized something they didn’t… the tomb of Jesus was empty, too! This Easter, remember that Jesus loved you so much, He died on the cross for your sins and rose again giving you new life!
