Hyatt Moore

Hyatt is an internationally known artist who loves using his gifts and talents for the enrichment of Christ’s kingdom. When we asked if he would create a design for the front of our “Beyond Suffering” study guide, he came up with this fantastic oil painting for the cover. I think it really shows the joy and hope that can be found in Jesus through a disability! What inspires me most about Hyatt? Yes, his talent, but also his generosity – he presented this stunning painting for display at the Joni and Friends International Disability Center (if you’re ever in LA, stop by and visit and admire Hyatt’s work hanging prominently on the IDC wall). May his story inspire you in your gifts and talents, too; just remember, “try to excel in gifts that build up the church” (I Corinthians 14:12).
