Thank You, Hospital Volunteers!

Not long ago, the leaders of the volunteer-auxiliary at Los Robles Hospital (where I went for my cancer surgery) came by the International Disability Center to present a gift of $1000 to our Wheels for the World outreach – all the volunteers over at the hospital chipped in to ‘sponsor’ a bunch of our Regency Pediatric Wheelchairs. It’s gifts like these, whether large or small, that are making a huge difference for Christ in the lives of so many kids with disabilities around the world. My encouragement to them as they left? A favorite verse from Ruth 2:12, “May the Lord repay you for what you have done; may you be richly rewarded by the Lord, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge.”
