Hosanna!

Palm Sunday is coming up and it’s one of the best Sundays for kids. Do you know why it is so special? In the Bible there are not very many stories about kids. But the kids who saw Jesus coming into the city on Palm Sunday did something important! That Sunday, the streets were filled with people waving palm branches and shouting praises to Jesus. Everyone was so excited! But the next day, the city was back to normal. That day Jesus went to the temple and threw people out who were being greedy and cheating others. Once all of those people were gone, lots of people who had disabilities came in and Jesus healed them. And the kids? There they were praising Jesus! They took what they had learned on Sunday about praising Jesus and were the only ones still praising Him on Monday! (You can read this story in Matthew 21.) Those kids had an important job. And you do, too! Make some of your own palm branches with this Palm Sunday activity and shout praises to Jesus. Hosanna!
