Heart for the Disabled

On Monday we talked a little bit about God’s love and how amazing it is. Today we want to give you an idea for how you can share God’s love with others. Every year Joni chooses five families who she knows needs lots of extra encouragement. Then she asks everyone she can to write notes and cards. After everyone sends in the cards they’ve made, she gathers them all up and mails them in a big box to surprise them on Valentine’s Day! Do you want to help Joni surprise these families? You can download this page to learn about two of the families. Is there a kid your age? Write and say “hi!” Or you could color them a picture or tell the mom and dad you are praying. You could even make a Valentine for each person in the family! Sometimes families can write back, and sometimes they can’t. If you want to include your address, make sure you ask your parents first! Then put the notes and Valentines in the mail to us. Won’t the families be so surprised by getting a great big box reminding them of God’s love?
