Gracie Rosenberger
My struggle with chronic pain is always made easier when a pain-pal comes alongside to share the burden. And the pain-pal I most respect? Gracie Rosenberger. A serious car accident years ago left her with crushed hips and multiple fractures in her legs (and that’s just scratching the surface of her injuries). Despite a valiant attempt to heal her fractures, both her lower limbs had to be amputated – even though she is able to walk with prosthetic legs, Gracie endures intractable pain. Her best therapy, however, is to sing! You can read all about this remarkable woman in her new book Standing with Hope (and her husband Peter did a great job of crafting Gracie’s story). Buoyant… enthusiastic… an ardent disciple of Christ… her husband’s biggest fan… and an indomitable sense of humor: that’s Gracie.
