Farmhouse on a Hill

This picture is another painting Joni did with her mouth. On a cold winter day like today, isn’t it nice to remember what a breezy summer day is like? Wait. Breezy? How do we know that the wind is blowing in this picture? Can you see the trees and grass bending just a little bit? When you first saw this picture, what part did you see first? Did you see the clouds or the farmhouse or maybe the acres and acres of green pasture? Or cows? Look again and see if you can find the cows. They are hard to find, aren’t they? Joni didn’t want people to look at this painting and think about cows. Instead, she wanted people to look at the pretty house on the hill. Can you guess what things she did with her paint so we would do that? Just like Joni wanted people to look at this painting and spend more time looking at the farmhouse than the cows, she wants people to look at her life and spend more time thinking about our home in Heaven than less important stuff.
