joni and ken in washington dcAlthough I voted by absentee ballot some time ago, Ken went to the polling booth early this morning to pull the lever – he told me that the lines were long! Tonight we will be eating hot dogs in front of the TV to watch the election returns. There are so many important issues facing many states (there’s a physician assisted suicide measure on the Massachusetts ballot that we are deeply concerned about) and, of course, we are praying that the Lord will bring to power that leader which He wants to guide our country for the next four years. I know you join me in thanking God that we live in a country where our voice really can be heard — so many countries we’ve visited look with envy to the American political process. God bless this great nation of ours!
