Couples’ Dinner at Family Retreat

Today Ken and I are heading to Spruce Lake Family Retreat in Pennsylvania (other US retreats are starting fresh on Monday morning, including International Family Retreats in Romania, Serbia, and Ghana :-). But I just had to show you snapshots from this week’s Mission Springs Family Retreat in the Bay Area. The Couples’ Dinner is always a big hit for weary moms and dads – it’s a chance for a quiet, romantic dinner with your spouse (while STM’s have a blast with the disabled kids and siblings)! I’m always astounded at the way God uses these evenings to refresh the hearts of exhausted parents. So my hat is off to the amazing volunteers who make certain every detail for these couples’ dinners is just-right – from the STM’s to local churches who get involved, God bless you!
