Joni and Friends is Busy in the Bay Area!

We’ve only been here in the San Francisco Bay Area for two days, but we’ve done a week’s worth of work…. And have had great fun, doing it! Ken and I just returned from a very successful Pastors’ Luncheon with over 200 attending; they are all on fire about sending their church leaders to our next Disability Ministry Training Day coming up in April. I’ve spoken at two churches thus far, mobilizing more people to come and serve as volunteers at our Family Retreats this summer… had lots of sign-ups! This photo shows all the happy faces from Grace Point Church located near the campus of UC Berkeley – most of them are students or former students who have a heart to reach their campus for Christ!, And now, we’ve got them jived about serving at Family Retreats! Tonight it’s another event, then three more churches this weekend before we head back down to LA this coming Monday. I’ve loved checking in on the blog and it’s been great reading Facebook — please continue to pray that my energy holds up, that pain levels stay down, and that our message is well received. To God be the glory… and may many more people with disabilities come to Jesus!
