Bible Reading Update

If you’ve been reading through the Bible with Joni this year, you’ve just finished the book of Numbers and are now reading Deuteronomy! Way to go! Did you know Moses wrote Deuteronomy? He wrote this book to remind the Israelites of what God had done for them in the past and what God expects of them in the future. In Exodus, God was faithful in helping the Israelites escape from Pharaoh in Egypt, and He took care of them in the wilderness. But in Deuteronomy, the Israelites forget about God’s faithfulness, and Moses has to remind them. Sometimes we can forget about God’s faithfulness in our own lives. But we have to remember, that even in the sad and hard times, God is right by our side and promises to always take care of us.
